Stand silently beside a vending machine for exactly 47 seconds.

Find a vending machine in a place you may legally stand. Remain silently beside it for exactly 47 seconds. You need not buy anything. Keep clear of doors, walkways and anyone using the machine; leave if asked. Record the duration and one entirely unremarkable observation. Do not photograph strangers.
The Constitution applies. Without exception.
No danger, harassment, damage or unwilling participants. Respect private information and animal autonomy. Stop if safety or consent is in doubt.
